Kutztown Folk Festival Quilt Auction |

A great day with 700+ people from several states anticipating the next highlight. We had a very fine group of handmade quilts this year and the judges task was very difficult. Bidder's voted with their dollars and the highest Best of Show quilt sold for $5,600. Next was a Best Of Show for $3250. Several more were in the $1,500 to $2,000 range. March 20 was a great day in Kempton. Weather wise it was one the best days ever (47 years) for the Spring Auction. There were well over 4,000 bidders and over 4000 lots sold. There was a great variety of merchandise with spirited bidding on most items.
