*Martini-Henry Enfield Model 1887 MK IV .577-450 cal rifle

Description

s/n NSN, brl length 33", very good condition, long lever falling block. This is a very nice non rearsenaled single shot military Martini-Henry. The right side of the receiver is marked with a crown over "V.R./ENFIELD/1887/crown/IV./1". The bore shines very bright having very nice rifling. The right side of the straight grip walnut butt stock shows over 10 plus assorted cartouche/proof marks with the underside of the forend being marked "139" and the wood showing assorted military wear and handling with some pressure indentations and scratches. The left side of the barrel just below the rear sight marked "N.S./NEP." with the rear of the barrel being marked with 5 total proof marks. The left side of the receiver is also marked with proofs at forward most edge near the top. The right side of the barrel at the receiver along with the bottom tang, trigger guard bow and lever are all marked with assorted proof marks. The trigger is serrated having an adjustable rear sight graduated to 15 along with a fixed blade front, right side mounted bayonet lug, two sling swivels and a cleaning rod are all present.
